Great Harbour #2

After our very adventurous golf cart ride to the shelling beach, we went out to dinner.  We found a place call Coolie Mae's Restaurant.  It was situated right by the water and was an authentic Carribean style place.  When I called for reservations they wanted to know what kind of meat did we want - beef, chicken, pork, or conch - so they could prepare it for us by the time we arrived.   They gave you a choice of 2 sides but you chose those when you got to the restaurant.  All 3 of us chose conch.  After a bit of a rickety drive we managed to find the place and found it to be a very novel and quaint place!  The food was fabulous and the service was wonderful!  A pleasurable dinner out!  The trip back to the boat was another adventure in that it was dark and our golf cart did not have head lights!  Fortunately, there were some street lights and Ed used his flash light to see the road!

The first thing we came across were a family of chickens.

We sat outside to watch the sunset while they were getting our dinner ready.  It was so relaxing!

We were rewarded with a beautiful one!

Some of the decor of the restaurant.  The shells were probably found right in their front yard!
