The Start Day - October 15, 2016

 This is at the start of our adventure on Oct. 15, 2016.  Just finally getting good wifi and a better control over my photo downloads!

This is my favorite lighthouse on the Chesapeake Bay, Thomas Point!

 We spent the first night on West River.  We had a nice motoring trip.  We were going to anchor there, but realized that our sailing friends were off of the West.  We called and they directed to their dock.

This is Pope and Amber.  They went down the ICW last year and are going to go again this year, a different time than us.  They are busy fixing some things on their boat and then Pope will head out with a friend of his, Mike. 

Amber is headed to England to go on the Queen Mary with a friend of hers.  She will join Pope down the ICW later on.
