Sandy Point, Virginia

After leaving Herrington Harbor South we had our longest "run" yet.  The winds just weren't favoring us at all, except to make the voyage slower.  It was delightful on the water, despite the wind issue!  I enjoyed the traveling, the breeze on my face and a relaxing state of mind!  Ed, on the other hand, was enjoying himself by calculating the amount of time it would take to get where we were going, the next destination, and all the other necessary things only a sea captain would love doing!  When suggested he sit back to relax and not worry that we were only going 3.5 knots, his reply was that he was relaxed and that calculating everything was relaxing to him!  Go figure!  I am glad he enjoys it!  We motored for about 40 miles to Wicomico River where we anchored at Sandy Point, Virginia.  About 6 other boats had the same idea.  This was a very pleasant spot to stay in.

Our repairs thus far are holding up.

Next stop - Cape Charles!  I love this town!  This will be our 3rd stop here and I am looking forward to getting out and stretching my legs!  We will stay here a couple of nights due to the prediction of gale winds on the Bay.
